Before you book
Is the whole compound mine or do I share it with other guests?
The entire compound is always rented to a single group. Both homes, the pool, the garden and the parking are exclusively yours — even if you are just two people.
How many guests can stay?
Up to 6 guests. Daruma Kuro sleeps 4: one bedroom with 1 single bed, another with 2 single beds, and a single sofa bed in the living room. Daruma Shiro sleeps 2: studio with 2 single beds, private bathroom and kitchenette.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in from 15:00 and check-out by 11:00. Need to arrive earlier or leave later? Ask us — it is available on request.
How do I book and pay?
Message us on WhatsApp or send the form with your dates. We confirm availability and you secure the booking with a 50% deposit by bank transfer, SINPE Móvil or a card payment link; the balance is due before check-in.
What is the cancellation policy?
Full refund of your deposit if you cancel at least 7 days before arrival. Within 7 days you can reschedule your stay at no cost, subject to availability.
Why is booking direct cheaper?
Because you skip platform service fees (usually 14–16% added to the guest). The price you see here is the total: no commissions, cleaning fee included.
Are pets allowed?
Please ask before booking. We review each case depending on size and number.
Are parties or visitors allowed?
Yes, in moderation. You are welcome to celebrate and play music at a moderate volume until 10:00 pm; after that we ask you to keep it down out of respect for the neighbors. Daytime visitors are welcome if you let us know in advance; only guests on the booking (maximum 6) may stay overnight.
Is there parking? Can I charge my EV?
Yes. Private gated parking inside the property for 2 cars, plus an EV charger.
How do I get there?
We are in Quebrada Bonita, about 5 minutes from downtown Jacó and 1.5 hours from San José via Route 27. Once your booking is confirmed we send the exact Waze and Google Maps location.
